Glass blowing from cane is a very Portuguese art. There aren't many artisans anymore, but for five years I was able to delve deeper and even fall in love with this noble material and its execution - glass worked at 1700 degrees, with hands and newspaper sheets. No molds. I created several decorative and utilitarian pieces at the invitation of Jasmim Glass Studio in Marinha Grande and developed illuminated pieces and a collection of handcrafted glass and silver jewelry. Of all the challenges I was faced with, this was the one I was most passionate about. I am ready to accept a new challenge in this area for anyone who still wants to produce unique pieces.
